Oxford debating society hosted

Students from The Bedford Sixth Form welcomed some high level competition when they hosted a regional round in the Oxford School Debating Competition.

Four students from The Bedford Sixth Form competed for the first time in this competition, which was staged in the beautiful setting of the main hall.

“They received good feedback and came away buzzing,” said staff member Carole Baber,

“Although they didn’t win they thoroughly enjoyed it and are looking forward to the next event.”

The organisers thanked The Bedford Sixth Form afterwards:

“The judges and visiting schools were very impressed with the warm welcome we received from you at The Bedford Sixth Form; you were a dream to work with, and for that we are all hugely grateful.”

“I wish The Bedford Sixth Form all the best in their future debating endeavours.”
