Schools Engagement

The Schools Engagement team works with schools and individuals who are interested in finding out more information about what The Bedford College Group can offer and the options available after GCSEs and A-Levels.

We are available to talk about any of the following:

  • Full-Time Study Programmes
  • Application Process
  • Enrichment
  • Transport
  • Bursaries
  • Course progression
  • Careers

Activities that we offer include:

  • Assemblies
  • Advice and Guidance sessions
  • Lunchtime Drop-in sessions
  • Preparing for College workshops
  • Course Routes workshops (Apprenticeships, BTECs, A-Levels)
  • Careers events
  • Parents Evenings
  • Taster sessions
  • Buddy days
  • College Tours

Our staff give information to students in Years 10-13 on Further Education, Higher Education and apprenticeship opportunities at Bedford and Tresham Colleges as well as our specialist colleges, The National College for Motorsport at Silverstone and our land-based college Shuttleworth College in Old Warden, Bedfordshire, which has residential accommodation.

Any of the above can be tailored to your requirements and we will be happy to discuss ideas with you.
