Tuition and exam fees
If you are aged 16-18 on 31 August 2017 and a British or European Union resident, the tuition and exam registration fees for your course are FREE. If you are aged 19-23 on 31 August 2017, you will normally have to pay a fee for your full Level 3 course. Fee waivers may be available depending on the qualifications you already hold or if you are in receipt of certain means-tested benefits.
The Bedford Sixth Form 16-18 bursaries
If you have a particular hardship that would otherwise prevent you from studying, our range of bursaries may be able to help with essential costs such as travel, books or equipment.

Academic Excellence Bursary
This is a non means-tested bursary of £4,000 paid in instalments over your two years of study.

At The Bedford Sixth Form, we don’t want travel costs to be a barrier stopping you from coming to study with us. That’s why we're offering full-time students a travel bursary worth £450 a year.

Depending on the courses you choose to study, there
may be extra costs you have to pay on top of any
tuition and exam fees. There will be a £50 charge for
day trips, visits and external speakers which will be
collected at enrolment. Find out what these costs are.
Young people with a disability or mobility problem
If you have a particular disability or mobility problem (including a temporary medical condition), you may be entitled to assistance with travel arrangements even if you live under three miles from The Bedford Sixth Form. Please check your local authority's transport policy.
